Self confidence is very important in this 2019 world full of speed and stress. Let’s be honest, there are a ton of tasks that we all need to take care of during our day. Maybe you’re just getting started with your store, so you’ll need to take care of your design, find products to sell, and then come up with marketing campaigns so you can promote your business. And it doesn’t end once you’ve setup your store either. Maybe you’ll need to take care of some customer service issues, manage your social media accounts, or test out some new marketing channels. Like we said – tons of tasks. And if you wake up in the morning facing a huge list of stuff which you need to deal with, how do you know where to start? It’s just like the saying goes: “by failing to prepare, you’re preparing to fail.” Incorporate a slot into your morning routine just to plan out your daily tasks.
While it’s true that many people who wake up earlier are often more productive, that doesn’t mean night owls can’t have a productive morning that leads to a productive day. Their “mornings” take place a little later, but can be productive nonetheless. Mike Vardy, productivity writer, speaker, and podcaster, says on his blog, “Look, I’m a night owl – and proud of it. Why? Because despite having many say that my sleeping habits make me less likely to achieve, I prove them wrong. I don’t just do that every once in awhile. I do it every single day.”
If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and will encourage you to do another task. And then another, and then another. And by the end of the day, that one task completed will turn into many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter. If you can’t do the little things right, you’ll never be able to do the big things right. And if, by chance, you’ll have a miserable day, you will come home to a bed that is made. That you made. Read more info at Productivity.
Stop waiting – dress your best right now. This one is so important! Whether it’s losing weight, moving, graduating or something else: Your life is not on hold just because you haven’t achieved all of your goals yet! Never wait until some arbitrary point in the future to embrace your style and dress exactly how you want to dress. Separate your body hang-ups from your style. Don’t allow body hang-ups to keep you from embracing your personal style. Because regardless of whether they are valid (probably not), they are beside the point. Being mega beautiful is not a pre-requisite to having great style, plus dressing in tune with your own personal style will improve your overall confidence and thereby also how you feel about your appearance.
The proper use of colours is another key element of mindful interior design. Typically, various natural hues are the best way to go. These include earthy tones, as well as different shades of blue and green. However, if you like a particular colour that is not so commonly found in nature, you can implement it in the design with various accent pieces. Additionally, using the power of natural colours doesn’t only include painting your walls a different shade or replacing your carpet. The beauty of exposed natural hardwood floors and polished wooden furniture can also do wonders for your peace of mind.
Commit to implementing your self-care routine while allowing yourself to play around with how you implement it. There are some days that will be easier to practice self-care and others that it might seem impossible. Things will get in the way and that’s an inevitable part of life. When this happens, it’s important to let go of the reigns a bit. Don’t be too hard on yourself and remember that every day is a fresh start to get back to it. Your self-care routine won’t be perfect.
