Buy safe FFXIV Gil right now? I get it. FATEs are tedious. The public events see an explosion of fresh players leveling up their characters every expansion. After that, they’re mostly empty. There are simply easier, more enjoyable ways to grind EXP. They don’t provide a great deal of money, either, and even the Grand Company Seals can be acquired elsewhere. Notice a couple of things about that assessment, though? EXP, Gil, Seals: FATEs provide it all. They don’t provide much of any one thing, but the various values add up for the relatively short time it takes to run multiple FATEs. That’s not even including the better moneymaker of FATE grinding: Bicolor Gemstones. This unique currency is only awarded after completing a Shadowbringers or Endwalker FATE. You get 14 for a full, successful clear. You then turn them in to buy animal parts from Gemstone Traders throughout those expansions’ regions. Two gemstones will get you a single hide, bottle of milk, etc. See more details on FF14 Gil.
Sell Unhidden Leather Maps. Do not do these maps. The reward is almost never worth it. However, they sell for a lot, so they are completely worth selling on the market board. Set all treasure maps as a favorite on the market board. You can buy treasure maps to complete. Sometimes the low level ones sell for nothing and they almost always earn a profit. If you are in the mood to run maps, check prices and buy the ones you want to do. Even server hop to see if other worlds have them for a better price. You can even do them on that server as you buy them! Gardening can be a very stable moneymaker. Once you have an established pattern going, it’s very easy to maintain, while providing a stable income, which rarely fluctuates negatively.
Despite long queue times and heavily populated servers, players have also been extremely kind to “sprouts,” or newcomers, like me. One party was extremely patient with me as I tried to figure out the Return command for a certain dungeon. And others have given nice tips in party activities, commended my efforts, or just shared a dance or a wave at folks going by. From the sample size I’ve seen, it’s a generally nice community.
All this, and we haven’t even touched on Endwalker itself. As we wrote in our Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker review, the new expansion affirms Final Fantasy 14 as one of the best games in the historic series, and possibly the greatest MMO ever made. Endwalker has somehow taken 11 years of worldbuilding, storylines, and characters, and wrapped them up in one neat bow, rounding out Final Fantasy 14’s comeback from disaster launch over a decade ago to a mega-hit for Square Enix. If you’ve yet to delve into Endwalker’s offerings, there’s well over 50 hours of main plot to soak in, multiple new regions to explore with engaging side quests and characters, eight brand new Dungeons, three new Trials, the new Pandaemonium Raid, and more set to arrive in the coming months. There’s simply no shortage of activities to enjoy in Final Fantasy 14 right now.
Earlier in 2021, knowing that the Endwalker expansion was on the way, I thought it might be time to finally dip into Final Fantasy XIV. I’m not really an MMORPG kind of guy; I’d seen friends play World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XI, and I even tried my hand at a few like Guild Wars 2, but none of them stuck. Yet with every year and every new expansion, it was becoming clear that Final Fantasy XIV wasn’t just a good MMO, but something that would leave a lasting impression on games to come. That, I thought, was worth at least trying. And so I determined that this holiday season, I would finally give Final Fantasy XIV a fair shot.
Said dungeons mostly include more random loot and more trash mobs defending it. There’s very little skill involved besides fighting the monsters. How far you progress comes down to luck — either a 50/50 chance of picking the right door or the literal spin of a roulette wheel. The deeper you go, though, the better your chances of getting rare loot. That includes minions, furniture, and crafting materials that are exclusive to a particular treasure dungeon. This is why Timeworn Treasure Maps can be sold for quite a bit on the Market Board. Players effectively “gamble” on maps: buying and deciphering more and more in hopes of acquiring a rare drop from within a portal. Find extra info on https://www.mmopixel.com/.
