You might be over wearing face masks. However, public health regulations mandate that you comply with your town or state’s regulations and cover your face while in public. You may feel that a mask makes it hard to breathe and limits your ability to interact socially. Depending on your political persuasion, you may even feel that facemasks represent government overreach into your personal health decisions. Our product contains a surfactant. Much like a pesticide that is sprayed on a plant, a surfactant is needed to make the pesticide “stick” to the plant. In the case of our product, a surfactant is used to help the product adhere and “stick” to hands and it can last up to 3 to 4 hours. We suggest reapplying our product every 3 hours. Why have I not heard of this before? The primary ingredient in our product has been used for decades as a surgical cleaner, wound cleaner and in the medical and cosmetic industries. Alcohol sanitizer is a great disinfectant and can kill germs. The marketing behind alcohol-based sanitizers has been prevalent. We have repurposed our product for the masses to help them kill germs longer on their hands because of what is going on in the world now. We believe our product will become a household name in the very near future. Read more information at 4-Hour Sanitizer.
One category of evidence comes from laboratory studies of respiratory droplets and the ability of various masks to block them. An experiment using high-speed video found that hundreds of droplets ranging from 20 to 500 micrometers were generated when saying a simple phrase, but that nearly all these droplets were blocked when the mouth was covered by a damp washcloth. Another study of people who had influenza or the common cold found that wearing a surgical mask significantly reduced the amount of these respiratory viruses emitted in droplets and aerosols.
A distinctive advantage of our active ingredient, not shared by alcohol-based antiseptics or hydrogen peroxide antiseptic, is that it does not cause a burning sensation when applied to broken skin. Instead, it is actually used as a wound cleaner. Why do we stand behind our active ingredient? The compound is especially useful for its antimicrobial activity and is an active ingredient in many useful consumer products. SAFTEY: Our product can be applied on the skin safely, however, remember to keep it away from your eyes. See extra info on this website.
